maybe it’s not my weekend, but it’s going to be my year.

2011 NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

1. Pick up one of the many guitars in my house and learn to play it, not just guitar hero an actual guitar!

2. Keep up with learning French despite the pain, torture and tears it caused me in 2010.

3. Watch more movies, I haven’t even seen the Lion King! (deprived childhood ;P)

4. Be a better friend, spend more time with friends.

5. Only give people the time of day that make me a priority, not just an option.

6. Will find nice sensible boyfriend and not continue to form romantic attachments to alcoholics, workaholics, peeping-toms, megalomaniacs, emotional fuckwits or perverts. [bridget jones]

7. Drink 2 + litres of water a day and eat more veggies.

8. Get organised, declutter life asap!

9.  Only listen to triple j, you will never find out who people like Justin Beiber and Kesha are and you will keep your sanity.

10. Keep all of new years resolutions :)

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing MUSE (my favourite band) for the second time last night. To say I had the time of my life is a gross understatement, I think it was the best 2 and a half hours of my life <3

Awesome light show, mirrorball suit worn by Matthew Bellamy, giant balloons filled with confetti with eyes on them and a bunch of fans that love muse just as much as me.

HIGH SCHOOL IS OVER.

Real life begins.

It kind of seems I’ve been waiting for this for the past 13 years and now that it’s finally happened I have no clue what to do with myself. I am quite possibly the most indecisive person I know so I’m really not making it easy for myself.

Pas d’attente, pas de regrets. No expectations no disappointments.

Shaquille’s predicament:
Teacher, psychologist, vet, travel agent, business person, journalist, language translator.

I’ve already decided if I don’t like teaching next year I’m dropping out after the first 2 weeks and trying another one off the list. Don’t even get me started about which university and whether I’m going to ditch Perth and move away to somewhere less.. well… boring as hell.
